Paying for an education can be one of the most challenging aspects of college, so SSS strives to ensure that its students have a clear understanding of the financial resources available to them. Counselors help participants remain aware of the eligibility requirements and application process for Federal Student Aid. By emphasizing the importance of proper course selection and satisfactory progress, SSS can help students steer clear of difficulty. However, should students need to appeal their financial aid status, SSS is able to assist with that process.

Additional sources of assistance are available beyond Federal Student Aid. SSS counselors work with participants interested in applying for scholarship assistance through MTC’s Foundation and other avenues. As well, SSS helps its students investigate programs that offer various forms of financial assistance.
