Class attendance is critical to your academic success. Faculty expect you to attend all scheduled
instructional activities. And, missing classes mean you may miss valuable instruction and course
information. For most courses, students must be present for at least 75 percent of their scheduled
classes and laboratory meetings to receive credit. Some programs and courses have higher standards.
At the beginning of each term, every faculty member will outline in their course syllabus the
attendance policy for their course. You are required to know and follow the attendance expectations
and the means of communication about minor illnesses. |
