The Program Students must attain a grade of "C"
in all respiratory care, mathematics and science courses to successfully
complete the program. Students may not repeat mathematics, science and/or major
course more than once. Students are permitted to fail no more than two
different curriculum courses. GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS:
A minimum of 83 semester credit hours is required for graduation. A minimum
grade of "C" must be attained in all respiratory, math and science courses.
No Respiratory or Science course may be repeated more than once.
PROGRAM NOTES:
- A pre-interview hospital tour and pre-admission interview are required
prior to acceptance. If applicable, ENG 100, RDG 101 and MAT 101 must be
completed prior to qualifying for a hospital tour and program interview.
- One or more of the objective criteria for admission may be waived or
modified for certain highly qualified applicants based on the Program
Director's decision.
- Graduate Entry Level Therapists or CRTs are eligible for advanced placement, but the
COMPASS placement test and a physical are required before a student can be evaluated for
entry in the program.
- Transferability of courses and course substitution must be approved by the
Program Director.
- Students have the option of taking equivalent college transfer courses or
electives in lieu of required courses with approval from the Program Director.
