Dr. C. William Mulkey, Ed. D, R.T.(R), FASRT, FAERS; Director of Radiologic Sciences

Dr. Mulkey has over 33 years of experience in the field of Radiology. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Radiologic Sciences from the Medical College of Georgia. He has experience as a Trauma Technologist. He also has a Masters and Doctorate Degree in Education from the University of South Carolina. He has held many local, state and national offices in our professional organizations. He has authored many chapters, articles and two new books for educators in Radiologic Sciences. He is the Program Director for the entire Radiologic Sciences Department at Midlands Technical College. This includes programs in: Radiologic Technology, General Radiography and Computerized Tomography,

Millie Massey, M.Ed., R.T. (R),(CV), Program's Clinical Coordinator / Academic Instructor, Radiologic and General Programs

Mrs. Massey is a graduate of Providence Hospital-School of Radiologic Technology in Southfield, Michigan. She has 25 years of experience as a radiographer with 23 of those years in education. She is also credentialed in Cardiovascular-Intervantional Radiography. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Sienna Heights College in Adrian, Michigan. She completed her Master’s Degree in Higher Education Administration from the University of South Carolina. She too has held many offices in the local, state and national professional organizations. Mrs. Massey teaches all Radiographic Positioning classes and is the Program's Clinical Coordinator for both radiography programs. She also works prn as a Radiologic Technologist at the Urgent Cares for Lexington Medical Center.

Nadine Wilson, B.S.R.S., R.T. (R), Clinical Site Coordinator/ Academic Instructor, Radiologic and General Programs

Mrs. Wilson is a graduate of Midlands Technical College Radiologic Technology Program in 2000. She is currently working on her Bachelor's in Radiologic Sciences degree from Florida Hospital College of Health Sciences. She is the Clinical Site Coordinator at Palmetto Health Richland in Columbia. She teaches Patient Care and Radiobiology/Radiation Protection in both programs. She has previously worked at Doctor's Care in Sumter, and Toumey's Westmark Urgent Care in Sumter. She currently is a prn Radiologic Technologist at Palmetto Health Richland in Columbia.

Mindy Tilton, A.S., R.T. (R), Clinical Site Coordinator/Academic Instructor, Radiologic Technology Program

Ms. Tilton is a graduate of Midlands Technical College Radiologic Technology Program in 1994. She is the Clinical Site Coordinator at Lexington Medical Center in West Columbia. She assists with the Radiographic Anatomy class and team teaches Patient Care with Mrs. Wilson for the Associate Degree program. She became certified in Surgical Technology in 2001. She has worked at Moore Orthopaedic in Columbia as a Radiologic Technologist and Private Surgical Scrub for 10 years. She has also worked Lexington Medical Center. While at Lexington, she worked extensively with the radiography students. You may have heard her musical talents as she often sings the National Anthem at the Columbia Inferno games!

Traci Smith, A.O.T., CLR(G), Clinical Instructor/Academic Instructor, General Radiography Program

Mrs. Smith is a graduate of our very first General Radiography Class in 2002. She works with students at all of our office clinical sites for the one year certificate program. She also teaches Imaging classes to the General Radiography students. She has work experience from: Midlands Orthopedics, Lexington Medical Center-Urgent Cares, Lexington Family Practice, as well as Doctor's Care- 7 Oaks. She has completed her Associates in Occupational Technology from MTC in August of 2006. She is pursuing her Bachelor's Degree in Health Sciences from MUSC in Charleston.
