Upon enrollment into the Community Pharmacy Technician Certificate Program, if a student cannot be granted credit for PHM 152 and PHM 164, clinical experience will be arranged within a community retail pharmacy in a student’s home community which WILL NOT be the same as the student’s current pharmacy employment site (if in fact the student is employed) or at any facility within the same retail pharmacy chain.
If it is determined that clinical practicum will be a requirement for a particular student, an entire criminal background check will be mandatory at a cost to the student of $60.00
All Pharmacy coursework (PHM prefix), BIO 110, and AHS 102 will be offered as online courses.
All lecture material and assignments will be done online. Testing procedures will require the student to take monitored and proctored examinations at Midlands Technical College or at a host college testing center site nearest to your home community as is feasible.
