Parent Information

Congratulations Parents

The fact that you’re browsing this site means you have a young person who is on the way to becoming a college-bound student! With so many educational options available it can be difficult for parents to sift through all the information to find the place and program that best matches their student’s goals. That’s why we’ve designed this website with the needs of parents like you in mind. See what MTC has to offer and how easy it is to get started.

If you would like additional information that may not be covered on this web page, or would like to suggest something for this web page, please contact Midlands Technical College by sending an email to askmtc@midlandstech.edu or by calling the college at (803) 738-1400 or 1-(800) 922-8038

The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) (20 U.S.C. § 1232g; 34 CFR Part 99) is a Federal law that protects the privacy of student education records. FERPA gives parents certain rights with respect to their children's education records; however, these rights transfer to the student when he or she reaches the age of 18 or attends a school beyond the high school level (regardless of the age of the student).

Please phrase your inquiry in the form of a question, such as
"How do I apply?"
