Admissions Information
MLT Program Enrollment Steps to Take:
- Application to Midlands Technical College.
- Designate MLT as major of choice.
- Enroll in General Ed. Courses:
- Math 102/110
- Psychology 201
- BIO 210/211
- English 101/102
- Computer Course
- Chem 110
- Take HOBET or apply for waiver.
Program Entrance Requirements:
- SAT score of 910 (430 verbal, 440 math); ACT composite score of 19 (18 English, 23 Math) or equivalent score on the MTC assessment test.
- High School transcript or its equivalent (high school credits in mathematics/science/English [I.e. algebra, biology, English] are recommended).
- Observation in clinical setting.
- TOEFL Test for international students.
- A writing sample must be taken before entering the program.
- Students must be interviewed by the program Interview Committee prior to final acceptance.
