End of the Year Celebration
An "End of the Year Celebration" is planned for the month of December. Sherry Shoars, Residency
Coordinator with the Admissions Office, has invited us all to come to her cabin for a
holiday celebration. There will be good food, good fellowship, and perhaps even a little
singing (Karaoke) and dancing. The date for the event will be published soon.
Halloween Party
The IRC Halloween Party was a big success. About fifty students, faculty, staff and friends attended. There was food, karaoke, games and dancing for everyone. Everyone had a great time. Melissa Hurst of Counseling Services won a prize for best costume.
Dreamwings Restaurant
Words cannot describe the incredible atmosphere and fun we all had at Dream Wings Restaurant. Gigi Addahoumi was the perfect hostess, making everyone feel right at home. Some of MTC’s worst singers provided the entertainment for what turned out to be “karaoke night.” Natalya Hall won the award for being the worst singer. Before the evening was over, just about everyone in the restaurant sang at least one song. Manal Esmail led the group in a conga line that snaked around, between and under the tables. You had to be there to really appreciate it.
If you missed it, we will be returning to Dream Wings in January. Stay tuned for more information later.
