POSITION: MANAGEMENT & MARKETING INSTRUCTOR
DEPARTMENT: BUSINESS AND PUBLIC SERVICE
LOCATION: AIRPORT CAMPUS
DESCRIPTION OF POSITION: Teaches business courses and demonstrates effective communication skills; assists in the selection and development of course materials; maintains effective instructional management; advises students; develops personal professional competencies to improve knowledge, skills and proficiency on an ongoing basis; serves on departmental and college-wide committees and performs services for the department.
QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s Degree in Business or another area with 18 graduate hours in business; must possess two years of demonstrated excellence in teaching, preferably in a community college setting, dealing with students from diverse academic backgrounds; must possess excellent oral and written communication skills as well as well-developed interpersonal skills; must demonstrate effective use of educational technology; preferably instruction using WebCT.
