POSITION: MEDICAL ASSISTING PROGRAM DIRECTOR
DEPARTMENT: HEALTH SCIENCES
LOCATION: AIRPORT CAMPUS
DESCRIPTION OF POSITION: The Program Director is responsible for general administration, planning, instruction, guidance, facilities, budget, and equipment for the Medical Assisting Program. Instructional responsibilities include preparing classroom and laboratory instructional materials, delivering instruction, advising students, remaining current in the discipline, managing the instructional process and participation in college and community service.
QUALIFICATIONS: Associate degree in Health Science or Science Discipline (Bachelor’s degree preferred); certified as CMA or RMA with three (3) years experience; one (1) year teaching experience at the college level.
