POSITION: SPEECH INSTRUCTOR
DEPARTMENT: HUMANITIES
LOCATION: AIRPORT CAMPUS
DESCRIPTION OF POSITION: Teaches SPC 205 (Public Speaking); conducts appropriate learning activities; assists in the selection and development of course materials; maintains effective instructional management; advises students; develops professional competencies to improve knowledge, skills, and proficiency; serves on departmental and college-wide committees and performs public service for the department; may be required to teach classes on multiple campuses and off-campus sites, including secondary schools.
QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s degree with 18 graduate hours in Speech Communication. Prefer masters or PhD in Speech Communication and at least three years of college-level teaching experience.
