POSITION: BIOLOGY INSTRUCTOR (3 POSITIONS)
DEPARTMENT: SCIENCE
LOCATION: ALL CAMPUSES
DESCRIPTION OF POSITION: Maintains a high level of excellence in teaching including but not limited to promoting learning, designing and assessing courses and curricula; have effective communication among faculty, staff, and students; keeps records and office hours; adheres to course schedules; participates in student advisement; provides college and community service; participates in professional development and overall instructional management; must be flexible to teach a wide variety of Biology courses.
QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s degree with at least 18 graduate semester hours in Biological Sciences, PhD preferred. At least two years experience in teaching lectures and laboratory courses in Biology in a college environment preferred; requires excellent management, oral and written communication skills; must be available to teach on all campuses.
