POSITION: STATISTICAL & RESEARCH ANALYST II
DEPARTMENT: ASSESSMENT, RESEARCH AND PLANNING
LOCATION: AIRPORT CAMPUS
DESCRIPTION OF POSITION: Under general supervision, this position performs complex research and data management activities by analyzing data using statistical techniques; conducts descriptive studies on students, faculty, and college operations; conducts enrollment trend analysis, coordinates the completion of recurring institutional state/federal reports; maintains and manages the office data warehouse, and reports the findings in written and oral formats.
QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree or an associate degree and two (2) years work experience in data management and research functions; or a high school diploma and four (4) years work experience involving research, data analysis, and report development. A bachelor’s degree in statistics, management, psychology or a related field is preferred.
SALARY RANGE: $24,635 - $35,106, Band 4, SC State Classification System. Excellent benefits program that includes: employer provided health, dental, and life insurance; paid holidays; sick and annual leave; and state retirement.
