Following an event-filled day of rocket design and launching, the students gathered back in the afternoon to prepare their presentations, skits, and decorations for the Awards Ceremony. Many parents attended and the room was full. There was laughter and hugs and fun all around, yet many had to remind themselves that this was not a celebration at the end of a project which often would be greeted with some degree of sadness, but merely a few weeks pause before the summer activities would start on June 5.
