Q. How do I apply for the GED?
A. You can obtain an application from your Local Adult Education Center or The SC Department of Education. It is best to apply as early as possible before the test. Applications are accepted up to 2 days prior to the test contingent on seat availability.

A. No, the GED test is only offered at an approved GED test site!!!

A. You CANNOT take the GED over the Internet or through

If you are over 18 and still in High School you can NOT take the GED
If you are under the age of 19 you must have a Verification of School Withdrawal form
