TELECOMMUNICATIONS SYSTEMS MANAGEMENT -
NETWORK MANAGEMENT


Associate in Computer Technology (TSM)

DESCRIPTION:
A program designed to prepare the student to work in a complex computer telecommunications environment. Having completed the courses in this program, it will be possible for the student to proceed to assisting in the design of communications networks; working with various vendors of communications services. The latest vendor network architectures are explored and presented. All topics are covered from a practical rather than a theoretical viewpoint.

GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • A minimum of 75 semester hours is required for graduation.
  • Students must earn a grade of "C" or better in all of the courses offered within the Engineering Department for the grade to count toward graduation.
 

PROGRAM NOTES:

  1. General education courses may be taken during the first semester provided all prerequisites have been met.
  2. Departmental Electives are three-credit hour courses taken within the Telecommunications Management Program of the Engineering Department.
