TELECOMMUNICATIONS INFRASTRUCTURE SERVICING

Certificate in Engineering Technology (TCI6)

DESCRIPTION:
The Telecommunications Infrastructure Servicing program is designed to produce qualified technicians for the telecommunications industry. The program provides theory and practice in the installation, maintenance, and repair of basic telecommunication equipment and systems. Basic industry skills such as safety, wiring techniques and cabling, math, and verbal and written communications are combined with industry specific skills such as equipment troubleshooting, networking, and diagnostic computer skills for a well-rounded certificate program. This experience can strategically position today's students for securing opportunities in the growing field of telecommunications.
