ROUTING AND NETWORK CONFIGURATION


Certificate in Computer Technology (RNC6)

DESCRIPTION:
The Routing And Network Configuration Certificate provides a sequence of courses needed to prepare for router configuration and troubleshooting in a networked enviroment. The current four course sequence are delivered as CISCO Academy courses.

BEGINNING SEMESTER: Fall/Spring

CAMPUS: Airport

ADMISSIONS REQUIREMENTS: RDG 100, MAT 100 or equivalent test scores. For more information contact Ben Poston or Mike Hanson.

GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS:
A minimum of 12 semester credit hours is required for this certificate.

Students must earn a grade of "C" or better in all of the courses offered within the Business and Information Systems Technology departments for the grade to count toward graduation. This includes courses with the following prefixes: ACC, BAF, BUS, CPT, CRP, IST, LEG, MGT, MKT and OST.

PROGRAM NOTES:

  1. All courses must have a grade of "C" or better to be used toward graduation.
  2. Students with credit for CISCO I and II from a local CISCO Academy will need to furnish documentation.
