Associate Degree in Occupational Technology

DESCRIPTION:
The Help Desk Associate Degree in Occupational Technology is designed to provide an opportunity for students to gain skills and experience necessary to provide technical help desk support.

GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS:
A minimum of 69 semester credit hours is required for this certificate.

Students must earn a grade of "C" or better in all of the courses offered within the Business and Information Systems Technology departments for the grade to count toward graduation. This includes courses with the following prefixes: ACC, BAF, BUS, CPT, CRP, IST, LEG, MGT, MKT and OST.

PROGRAM NOTES:

  1. All courses must have a grade of "C" or better to be used toward graduation.
  2. Students must work significant time at the College Help Desk.
  3. Departmental Electives are three-credit hour courses taken within the Information Systems Department. Information Systems prefixes include AOT (OST), IST and CPT.
  4. CPT 101-Introduction to Computers and AOT 105- Keyboarding cannot be used as departmental electives.
