BASIC ELECTRICAL WIRING

DESCRIPTION:
A program designed for those individuals who desire a fundamental knowledge of electrical wiring, both AC and DC, and who wish to become familiar with electrical codes, ordinances, blueprint reading and electricity fundamentals.
BEGINNING SEMESTERS: FALL (DAY & EVENING); SPRING (DAY ONLY)

PLACEMENT TEST SCORES REQUIRED TO ENROLL IN CURRICULUM COURSES:
GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS:
A minimum of 29 credits is required for certification.
PROGRAM NOTES:
- Students are required to purchase approximately $80 worth of small hand tools .
- Courses taken in this program may be applied toward the diploma program if the student later elects to pursue the diploma.
- If a student's score on reading is above cutoff, but student's score on math is below cutoff, the student may take: EEM-117 AC/DC Circuits I, EEM 118 AC/DC Circuits II.
