Entrance requirements for transfer students vary widely among senior colleges/universities and are considered individually. It is the student’s responsibility to select courses from the AA/AS curriculum that meet the requirements of the college/university to which you plan to transfer. DESCRIPTION:
A program designed for students who are planning to transfer to a four-year college in majors such as computer science, engineering, health sciences, mathematics, science or others that require more intense course work in mathematics and science than in humanities and/or social sciences.

GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS:
A minimum of 62 semester credit hours and an overall GPA of at least 2.0 are required for graduation.

2. Entrance requirements for transfer students vary widely among senior colleges and universities. All applicants and requests for transfer of credit are evaluated individually. Thus, it is strongly recommended that a student discuss transferring to a four-year institution with a representative of that institution early in the student's academic career at MTC.
3. Most full-time AS students will need to take two Math/Science courses every term in order to finish the program in four semesters.
4. BIO 100, CHM 100 and PHY 100 are recommended prerequisites for students with no prior courses in these areas.
5. IDS 102 is recommended for students who are undecided about their 4-year major.
   
6. COL 105 is a recommended elective for entering freshmen.
   
7. COLLEGEWIDE ELECTIVES - Electives depend upon the student's educational goals and show wide variety. Elective credits must bring the total number of curriculum credits to 62 semester hours. Credits may be selected from curriculum courses numbered 101 and above, excluding MAT 101, MAT 102, RDG 101, IDS 102 AND COL 103.
