Business Administration majors may take MAT 130 or MAT 140 plus one of the following: MAT 120, MAT 122, MAT 132, MAT 142, PHI 105
Journalism also requires one of the following: PHI 105 and PHI 106, CPT 101 and another computer science course at USC, another statistics course at USC, or MAT 130
There are four ways to satisfy the "mathematics" requirement for Criminal Justice, Retailing, Administrative Information Management, Sport
Administration, Liberal Arts, and Music. These are:
- MAT 130 plus one of: MAT 120, MAT 122, MAT 132, MAT 142, PHI 105, PHI 106, CPT 101
- PHI 105 AND PHI 106
- CPT 101 and another computer science course at USC
- MAT 120 and another statistics course at USC
The "mathematics" requirement for Nursing (9.0 semester hours) may be satisfied in one of the following ways:
- MAT 120, MAT 130, and one of MAT 122, MAT 140, MAT 141 , CPT 101, CPT 168, CPT 170
- MAT 120 and CPT 101 and CPT 168 or CPT 170
The "mathematics" requirement for Biology (8.0 - 9.0 semester hours) may be satisfied in one of the following ways (with USC advisor approval):
- MAT 140 and MAT 141
- MAT 130, MAT 120, and MAT 122 or MAT 132
