Entrance requirements for transfer students vary widely among senior colleges/universities and are considered individually. It is the student's responsibility to select courses from the AA/AS curriculum that meet the requirements of the college/university to which you plan to transfer. For questions or additional information, contact the AA/AS Airport Campus Office (822-3293) or the AA/AS Beltline Office (738-7612).

PROGRAM NOTES:
- See appropriate 4-year college catalog and Transfer Credit Guide for selection of specific general education courses required for the student's prospective major.
- Entrance requirements for transfer students vary widely among senior colleges and universities. All applicants and requests for transfer of credit are evaluated individually. Thus, it is strongly recommended that a student discuss transferring to a four-year institution with a representative of that institution early in the student's academic career at MTC.
- BIO 100, CHM 100 and PHY 100 are recommended prerequisites for students with no prior courses in these areas.
- Please do not place Associate in Arts students into MAT 111(College Trigonometry) unless there is evidence that the student will need it for graduate school or a for major that requires Analytic Geometry and Calculus I. (Please see AA math notes and general guidelines for selecting math courses!)
- IDS 102 is recommended for students who are undecided about their 4-year major.
- COL 105 is a recommended elective for entering freshmen.
- COLLEGEWIDE ELECTIVES - Electives depend upon the student's educational goals and show wide variety. Elective credits must bring the total number of curriculum credits to 62 semester hours. Credits may be selected from curriculum courses numbered 101 and above, excluding MAT 101, MAT 102, OST 105, RDG 101, IDS 102 and COL 103.
