If you pass the DANTES Technical Writing Test, you may also be able to get credit for ENG 165 Professional Communications. To apply for this credit, you will need to do the following:

1. Write an additional essay (topic provided by the ENG department) that tests your ability to write persuasively in a professional situation.
2. If you are successful on this essay, come in for a brief interview with the department chair or another faculty member to test your oral competency.
