HYBRID COURSE DESCRIPTION   A hybrid course combines on-campus meetings with online (Internet) assignments related to classroom discussions.   Approximately one of the regularly scheduled class meetings per week will be devoted instead to Internet assignments outside of the classroom.   A computer connection to the Internet is a vital component to this course.   If you do not have access to a computer, then you must make arrangements to use the computers in the Academic Success Centers (http://www.midlandstech.edu/successcenter).
         
         
ON-CAMPUS CLASSES   With the exception of Thursday, January 17, during the first week of classes, this class will meet on Tuesdays, 9:35 - 11:00 a.m. on Airport Campus in CO 128.   (The instructor reserves the right to use an occasional Thursday, if needed.)

Attendance will be recorded on Thursday, January 17.

  The textbook for this course is Brief Calculus, An Applied Approach, 7th edition, by Ron Larson and Bruce Edwards.   This book is packaged with an Eduspace passkey for the homework website.   The package is sold only in the MTC Airport Campus Bookstore.
