COURSE DESCRIPTION |
MAT 110 is a
three credit
hour course that includes the following topics: polynomial, rational,
logarithmic and exponential functions; inequalities; systems of
equations and inequalities; matrices; determinants; simple linear
programming; solutions of higher degree polynomials; combinatorial
algebra, including the binomial theorem; and introduction to
probability. Graphics calculator required;
TI-83, TI-83+ , or TI-84 recommended (Prerequisite: MAT 102, RDG 100 or ESL 100 or equivalent placement test score) |

All tests for this course are password protected and must be taken on campus in the Testing Center. | |||

CLASS INFORMATION |
With the
exception of Thursday, August 28, this class will meet on
Tuesdays, 9:35-11:00 a.m., on Airport Campus in CO 128.
(The instructor reserves the right to use an occasional Thursday,
if needed.) All information regarding this course will be covered on the first day of class. |
