COURSE DESCRIPTION

  MAT 110 is a three credit hour course includes the following topics: polynomial, rational, logarithmic and exponential functions; inequalities; systems of equations and inequalities; matrices; determinants; simple linear programming; solutions of higher degree polynomials; combinatorial algebra, including the binomial theorem; and introduction to probability. Graphics calculator required; TI-83, TI-83+ , or TI-84 recommended

(Prerequisite: MAT 102, RDG 100 or ESL 100 or equivalent placement test score)

  All tests for this course are password protected and must be taken on campus in the Testing Center.  
         
 

 

     
 

COURSE ORIENTATION

(Not Required)

  The orientation for this course is not required.   It is scheduled only for students who have difficulty setting up their MyMathLab account (see link to instructions below).   The orientation session will be on the Airport Campus in Congaree Hall, room 117, on August 20 from 12:30-1:30 p.m.
