COURSE DESCRIPTION |
MAT 110 is a
three credit
hour course includes the following topics: polynomial, rational,
logarithmic and exponential functions; inequalities; systems of
equations and inequalities; matrices; determinants; simple linear
programming; solutions of higher degree polynomials; combinatorial
algebra, including the binomial theorem; and introduction to
probability. Graphics calculator required;
TI-83, TI-83+ , or TI-84 recommended (Prerequisite: MAT 102, RDG 100 or ESL 100 or equivalent placement test score) |
