Internet MAT 102

  A bonus homework grade for this course will be obtained through the Internet using the website called MyMathLab.  To access the online homework exercises, multimedia, and tutorial components in MyMathLab, you must register and/or enroll in this class.  

 

  Follow Directions A or B below.  
     
  DIRECTIONS A: For students who used MyMathLab in MAT 101, or used MyMathLab in MAT 102 and are retaking the course.

DIRECTIONS B: For students who did not take MAT 101 at MTC, or took MAT 101 in a previous semester at MTC and did not use MyMathLab in the course. Students who fall under this category must purchase a MyMathLab Access Code from the Bookstore.

  
     
     
     
  DIRECTIONS A  
 

 

1)      Go to your Pearson Account Summary and log in.

2)    Click Enroll in A Course.

3)    Enter the course ID: crawford58523

4)   Confirm the course information and then click Next.

 4)    Click Enter Course Now to start using the new course

  
     
     
  DIRECTIONS B  
 

 

  1. Go to www.coursecompass.com and click Register on the CourseCompass homepage.
  2. Click Next on the Before You Start page.
  3. Enter the Course ID: crawford58523
  4. Click Find Course.
  5. Verify the course information and click Access Code under Enrollment Options.
  6. Type or paste your access code in the space provided. Your code is a series of six words separated by hyphens. The Access Code must be entered in uppercase letters.   Click Next.
  7. Review the license agreement and click I Accept.
  1. On the Access Information page, indicate whether you already have a Pearson account.
    • If not, select No and follow the instructions to create your login name and password.
    • If you have an account, select Yes and enter your login information.
    • If you aren't sure, select Not sure. Enter your email address and click Search.
      • If you have an account, your login information will be sent to your email address within a few moments. Change your selection to Yes, and enter your login name and password as directed.
      • If you do not have an account, change your selection to No and follow the instructions to create your login information.

Note: A login name can be up to 64 characters long. A password can be up to 32 characters long and must contain at least one number and one letter.

  1. Click Next.
  2. On the Account Information page, if you are creating a new Pearson account, enter the appropriate information in the fields provided:

a.  Personal Information: Enter your first name, last name, and an email address that you check regularly.

b. School Location: Select your school's country from the drop-down list.

c.  Enter the zip code 29170 for Airport Campus.

d.  From the resulting drop-down list, select Midlands Technical College (Airport Campus).

e.  Security Question: To ensure the privacy of your account, select a security question from the drop-down list and then enter the answer

If you already have an account, verify that the information in the prefilled fields is correct.

  1. Click Next.

 Review the Confirmation & Summary page information. Print the page to keep a record of your login name, the email address used on your account, and your registration transaction information, in case you need to contact Customer Support. You will also receive an email message that contains your login name and password.

 

Logging in to CourseCompass

 Any time you want to return to work in your CourseCompass course, go to www.coursecompass.com.  Click Log In and enter your login name and password.
