TELECOMMUNICATIONS SYSTEMS MANAGEMENT

Associate in Telecommunications Systems Management (TSM)

DESCRIPTION:
The Telecommunications Systems Management (TSM) Associate Degree is designed to prepare students for jobs in which they will plan, install and upgrade network hardware and software; manage an up-and-running network; and configure, maintain and troubleshoot computers that are attached to a network.

In addition, several courses help the student prepare to take major industry certification exams (Cisco, Microsoft) while completing the TSM degree. The curriculum emphasizes hands-on lab experiences and is constantly tuned to be as "cutting edge" as possible.

GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS:
A minimum of 63 semester hours is required for graduation. Students must earn a grade of "C" or better in all of the technical courses offered within the TSM Major.

PROGRAM ACCREDITATION:
Midlands Technical College is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.
