HELP DESK


Certificate in Computer Technology (HLP6)

This certificate may be incorporated into a 2 year Help Desk A.O.T. Degree.

DESCRIPTION:
The Help Desk Certificate is designed to provide an opportunity for students to gain skills and experience necessary to provide technical help desk support.

BEGINNING SEMESTER: Fall/Spring

CAMPUS: Beltline

ADMISSIONS REQUIREMENTS:
Must have completed with a "C" or better, CPT 172, CPT 174, CPT 179, CPT 168, and CPT 113. For complete orientation for this certificate contact John Sukovich, 738-7886, LB 108.

GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS:
A minimum of 30 semester credit hours is required for this certificate.

Students must earn a grade of "C" or better in all of the courses offered within the Business and Information Systems Technology departments for the grade to count toward graduation. This includes courses with the following prefixes: ACC, BAF, BUS, CPT, CRP, IST, LEG, MGT, MKT and OST.

PROGRAM NOTES:

  1. All courses must have a grade of "C" or better to be used toward graduation.
  2. Students must work significant time at the College Help Desk.
