All VCR-based courses have a
mandatory orientation. Information regarding orientation can be found under
each course title. If you are taking 2 or more VCR Based courses and you have a conflict
in orientation times, contact the instructor and accommodations will be made. For

Your instructor will tell you if on-campus testing is required and if so, which testing
center to use. The Beltline Testing Center is located in the Wade Martin Hall building,
room 245 and the Airport Testing Center is in the Airport Student Center building, room
233.
The testing dates and times, if any, will be provided to you by your instructor during
orientation. Your instructor will also give you the course syllabus which describes in
detail the requirements for the course in which you have enrolled. This is why your
attendance is at orientation is important.
If you are testing at a testing center, you do not need an appointment, but you should
plan to report to the center at least two hours before closing time. Remember, the
specific test dates and times for testing in your course, if any, will be given to you by
your course instructor through the course syllabus.
***** If you fail to take a test at the assigned time you will receive a grade of
"0" for that test and your instructor will drop you from the class, unless prior
arrangements have been made with your instructor.
When you report to the testing center you will need to show a picture identification
before you take a test. You are not permitted to leave the testing area once the test
begins and you are not permitted to bring children or visitors into the testing area.

VCR courses are "regular" courses in that they must be added or dropped like
any other course. If you choose to withdraw from a VCR Based course, you must complete and
submit a Drop/Add/Withdrawal Form. Changes in course loads impact financial aid,
veterans’ benefits and other enrollment related financial situations, so it is
important to investigate the impact of a withdrawal. You should discuss your withdrawal
plans and the grade you would receive with your instructor prior to withdrawal. College
counselors are also available to assist you.
