Online Learning
Is Online Learning the Right Choice for Me?

If you have never taken an online class before, you are probably wondering how online courses compare to traditional courses. You might be wondering how you would fare in such a class.

Online courses have many things in common with traditional classes - there are still instructors, classmates, course materials and assignments. But the online environment offers much more flexibility. And it requires more self direction and self discipline from students taking advantage of its offerings. Later you will learn more about what it takes to be a successful online student.

Since there is no set class schedule, you will have to manage your own time. In online learning, while the class usually does not meet at a specific time, there are still deadlines for assignments and plenty of studying. Later in the Orientation, you can take advantage of a scheduling tool that will help to ensure that you can devote enough time to your studies.
