
The Assignment Tool allows you to:
I. View and download assignments created by your instructor,
II. Upload (send) assignments you have completed to your instructor
III. Determine which assignments you have submitted (sent to your instructor)
IV. View the grade assigned to each completed assignment
NOTE: Assignments may only be submitted once. You have access to the instructions and files related to an assignment until you actually SUBMIT the assignment. Once you have submitted an assignment, you cannot access the instructions, download any assignment-related files, nor re-submit it.

I. View and Download Assignments
To view an assignment, click the Title link of that assignment.

Read the assignment instructions carefully.
Downloading Assignment Files
If your instructor has given you any files to download, they will appear
under the "Assignment-related files" area. In this example,
there is one file labeled "Whos_Who_on_WebMTC.xls"
To download an assignment file:
1. Click its filename link.
2. A new window similar to the one below will appear.
3. Select a file (click the radio button next to the file name)
4. Click the "Download" button.

II. Uploading Completed Files
Once you have completed your assignment and are ready to give it to the
instructor, return to the assignments area and click the
button. You will be taken to a screen like this one:

1. Click the "Upload" button and you will see this screen:

your assignment screen will look similar to this one:

If you have more than one file to submit, repeat the uploading
process until all of your files have been uploaded.

Click the
button.
WebCT will warn you that you are about to submit your assignment:

Keep in mind that once you submit your assignment
(click the OK button), you cannot re-submit it, nor can you view the
instructions for that assignment. Do not submit assignments unless you are
finished with them.
Click the "OK" button to proceed and your assignment will be
submitted.
What Happens Now?
Return to the Assignments main menu,
· you no longer have access to the assignment, and that the status has been changed from "Not Submitted" to "Not Graded":

· When your instructor has graded your assignment, the status will change to "Graded":

To view your grade (and any feedback from your
instructor) simply click the "Graded" link.
