As part of the Business Department’s ongoing student learning outcomes assessment process, there will be established standardized assessments for each course outcome. Each Course will generally have two outcomes which are included on the syllabus. As an instructor you are responsible for assessment and reporting for each outcome. How you award credit for these assessments and the point value assigned is totally up to you. All we require at the end of the term is for you to complete the reporting form showing how many students took the assessment and the score for each student on the assessment. Please note that we are collecting data on student learning- not your teaching. Any questions, please contact Brad Cox at 822-3605 or coxb@midlandstech.edu MGT 101 MGT 101 uses a departmental exam in assessing student outcomes. As a MGT 101 instructor, you are responsible for giving the exam. The department will grade it and compile the data for student outcomes.
MGT 240 The student outcomes for MGT 240 are measured using a rubric. Students will do a case analysis. For Fall semester, you may choose any case from the text. This can be written or as an oral presentation. How you award credit for this assessment and the point value assigned is totally up to you. You are required to send in the reporting form at the end of the semester. (The reporting form will be posted soon)
