Course description: This course is the study of various structured approaches to managerial decision-making.

 

Course objectives

After completion of this course, a student will be able to:
1. Think strategically about a company and its opportunities for gaining sustainable competitive advantage

2. Conduct strategic analysis in a variety of industries and competitive situations.

3. Be familiar with managerial tasks associated with implementing and executing company strategies.

4. Integrate knowledge gained in earlier core courses.

5. Build skills in assessing business risk, and improve ability to create results-oriented action plans.

6. Be proficient using PCs and the Internet to do managerial analysis.

7. Be more conscious of the importance of exemplary ethical principles, sound personal and company values, and socially responsible management practices.
