Friendships we make at college As most of you go through college, you will be there sometimes with people who you went to high school with, and sometimes you will be alone, but all of you will have and will find friendships in many different forms. The friendships could range from teachers, to people who you study with for that one class, to those who you just connect with for one reason or another. But all of you will grow from these friendships in many ways, for everyone we meet puts mark on our lives in one way or another. Myself, I have made friends with people my own age, to many with young adults my daughter's age, to teachers who have encouraged me to keep moving forward to achieve my goal. So I say to all of you as you walk through the college on a daily basis, and pass people by, look at them and smile and say Hi, for these people may be your friends of your future life. |
